We called it the Chestnut duplex suite room as Chestnut is one of the common trees that form a part of our forest ecosystem. It is a duplex suite with the ground floor serving as a living room(cum bedroom in case of 2 extra guests) and the top floor serving as the actual bedroom. One interesting feature of the bedroom is the skylight right above the bed. It provides adequate sunlight during the day. Besides, you can also enjoy watching the clouds roll by, just by lying in the bed. You can also fulfill your stargazing dream with breathtaking views of the night sky, esp. on a moonlit night. The cottage comes with a beautiful balcony overlooking the beautiful mountains, valley, forests, and a panoramic view of Gangtok town.

The suite has all the basic amenities that a traveller would want.

We have used traditional building methods, by using woven bamboo as walls and reinforced with cement and in some cases daub. By using the traditional building methods, we aim to preserve our age-old building practices which are otherwise fading.

The bathroom is fitted with a geyser. There are no TV sets at the farm. This is because we want to provide our guests with a true farm feel so that they can connect with mother nature during their stay. Nevertheless, we do provide free Wi-Fi so that guests can stay connected with their family and friends. We have placed travel books and magazines featuring Sikkim so that they can gain more knowledge about this beautiful state. The room is equipped with an electric kettle, a hot air blower, and hot water bags to keep you cozy and warm on those chilly winter nights.

The bedroom provides panoramic views of the lush green forest. Almost 70% of the raw materials used in these structures have been procured locally from the farm.
